Lit Hop! Ashe @ Dallas Poetry Slam
When: Friday, April 20, 8 pm
Where: Heroes
Hosted by: Candy and Dallas Poetry Slam
Ashe Vernon is a playwright and poet based in Austin, Texas. A 23 year old professional daydreamer, Ashe has always been restless. They’ve published four collections of poetry, one of which was nominated for a 2015 Pushcart Prize. Currently the Senior Editor of Poetry with the literary magazine, Persephone’s Daughters, Ashe has a talent for over-committing and narrowly making deadlines. They’ve toured the country, crying into microphones at strangers all over the southwest. At 5’2”, Ashe is a very small person with very tiny hands and a whole lot to say about it.

Anthony McPherson writes biracial poetry, intertwining various art forms such as breakdance, stop-motion animation, and a myriad of character impressions.
