ArtSpeak – William Massey III @ MFA Gallery

William Massey III preforms, in conjunction with the Clay Stinnett exhibit at Mighty Fine Arts. William Bryan Massey III is the under recognized stepchild genius and white trash poet laureate of Fort Worth. His legendary spoken word performances are hair raising and hilarious revealing uncommon insight steeped in sweat, booze and blood . On this unique occasion he will be musically embellished by the fusion hillbilly sounds of Inferno Texino featuring Andy Don Emmons, Clay Stinnett and Jason Cohen. There will also be available handmade books and art by Mr Massey that you might want to take home as evidence of your attendance.

Brian Allen Carr (born 1979) is an American writer based in Texas. He is the author of the short story collection Short Bus (2011) and was the winner of the inaugural Texas Observer Story Prize as judged by Larry McMurtry in 2011. Carr was also a finalist for the Texas Institute of Letters Steven Turner Award for First Fiction, 2011. His stories have appeared in AnnalemmaBoulevardFiction InternationalHobartKeyhole and Texas Review, among others.Vampire Conditions, was published by Holler Presents in 2012.
